Two Tools for Encouraging Meaningful Peer Feedback
Publication information:
Abstract
The Inclusive Teaching Institute hosted a Symposium of interactive workshops of teaching activities and tools, both in-person and online, open to faculty, teaching staff, and instructional staff across Harvard University. These workshops were facilitated by Inclusive Practice Fellows who modeled how teaching staff can support students to take ownership of their learning. This includes giving students voice and power to share their identities, interests, and perspectives through peer learning activities and difficult conversations. The symposium aimed to help participants design a course curriculum that gives students choices through assignments and makes connections to their lives, the world around them, and each other.
